Throughout history, women have taken a backseat to a male-dominated society especially in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education and careers. Women are told, shown and treated as if they do not belong in these professions.

Women should invest in STEM Mentoring? When they want to pursue STEM degrees, careers or jobs. When they feel like giving up because of a negative mindset, low self-esteem, their goals are blocked or family, colleagues and professors are telling you that you are not able to travel this journey.

How Can STEM Mentoring Help?

My role as a coach will be to inspire women to excel in STEM confidently to achieve and maintain success in their academic and professional lives.

To help them develop and/or enhance essential STEM skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. To expand the number of women to pursue certifications, degrees, advanced degrees, and careers in STEM.

I will also work with women during the critical transition from school to work and help them understand the careers available to them in their fields of study. I will work with women to help them break through barriers they may encounter through their academic journey.

During our sessions we will discuss issues faced by women with careers in STEM.

I am very passionate about helping women in the STEM field reach their maximum potential.

The Coaching Process

Your first step is to call me to schedule your initial appointment.

Your initial evaluation session allows you to build rapport with me and provide me with some background about yourself and the reasons you are seeking mentoring. In addition, I will be able to answer your questions regarding services, confidentiality, and what to expect in mentoring.

At the end of your first session, if you decide to move forward and work with me, you will be asked to schedule further appointments. At your second appointment, you will work with your coach to set goals for your overall mentoring experience and then work together to achieve them.
